Tell us which areas are complete, where trades are still working and what surfaces and fittings will be in place. A clear room list helps define the work rather than relying on a total floor area alone.
Work towards a clear handover
Provide the expected completion dates and the sequence in which rooms become available. Identify the project manager responsible for access and the team that will review the completed cleaning.
Where new-build areas are being handed over in stages, include each phase in the brief. Timing and availability need to be agreed around the actual condition of the site.
When stains need extra attention
Sparkle Clean is our advanced builders-cleaning option to help tackle stains during or after the builders clean. Provide photographs and details of the affected surfaces so suitable treatment can be discussed.
Removal depends on the mark and the surface. Some discolouration may be permanent damage rather than a removable stain.
Distinguish construction completion from operational readiness
A new cleanroom, aseptic area or hospital theatre may need additional specialist cleaning after the builders clean. Describe its intended use and the site requirements so the next stage can be specified.
Builders cleaning does not replace environmental testing, qualification or the client’s release process.
