The cleaning brief
PharmaCleanse carried out six-stage cleaning for two areas at NIBSC in South Mimms: CBRM and UKSCB. The work was recorded as separate cleaning scopes in February 2026.
A staged approach to the work
The project method statements set out particle removal using HEPA-filtered equipment, surface cleaning with lint-free applicators and staged washing and rinsing. Each area had its own method statement and specified cleaning materials.
This is why the cleaning brief starts with the individual facility: rooms, surfaces, materials and access requirements need to be considered together.
Documentation around the clean
The project documentation included method statements, site cleaning reports, material approval sections and handover reporting. These records describe the cleaning scope and provide a framework for reviewing the work.
