Two distinct cleaning requirements
PharmaCleanse worked for BES at Terumo Aortic in Renfrew. The project combined a six-stage clean in the new laboratory with Sparkle Clean for the corridors and two stairwells.
Laboratory cleaning and finishing work
The laboratory method statement set out particle removal, surface cleaning and staged washing and rinsing. The cleaning scope covered the specified laboratory surfaces and included arrangements for site induction and suitable protective equipment.
The circulation areas had a separate finishing requirement. Including these areas in the same project brief made the distinction between specialist laboratory cleaning and Sparkle Clean clear.
A defined scope for handover
The project paperwork identified the work areas and included material approval, job reporting and handover documentation. Defining each area and its cleaning requirement helps the project team plan the sequence of work.
